BERG Favorit Trampolines in Cork — From €449

Yes. The frame is hot-dip galvanised, and with registration it carries an 8-year warranty. A weather cover, from €80, keeps leaves and dirt off the mat over the winter. Above-ground trampolines must be anchored, and an anchor set is €55.

Measure the space first and allow 2 metres of clear space on every side of the trampoline. The Favorit comes in 200cm (6.5ft), 270cm (9ft), 330cm (11ft), 380cm (12.5ft) and 430cm (14ft). The smaller sizes suit city gardens in Turner's Cross or Blackrock; the 380cm and 430cm need a larger suburban garden.

The Favorit has SoloSpring springs, an AirFlow mat, 20mm padding, the Comfort safety net and an 8-year frame warranty. The Champion has TwinSpring springs, an AirFlow Pro mat, 30mm padding, the Deluxe net with a self-closing entrance and a 13-year frame warranty. An 11ft Favorit with a net is €659; an 11ft Champion is €1,119.
